1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AdvancedData ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

AdvancedData is a decision intelligence platform for startup founders. The Platform provides:

  • Decision scoring and classification across Impact, Effort, Risk, and Time-to-Value dimensions.
  • AI-powered strategic briefs and analysis using third-party AI providers.
  • A public decision directory with anonymised benchmarks from the founder community.
  • Integrations with Stripe and Google Analytics for automated metric tracking.
  • Team workspace features for collaborative decision-making.
  • Calibration scoring and accuracy tracking to improve decision-making over time.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform.
  • One person per account. Shared accounts are not permitted unless using the Teams/Workspace feature.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

  • The Platform offers free and paid subscription tiers. Feature availability depends on your plan.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of a charge for refund requests.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Your Data and Content

  • Ownership: You retain full ownership of all decisions, descriptions, outcomes, and business data you enter into the Platform.
  • Public contributions: Decisions you mark as "public" or "anonymous" will be visible in the decision directory. Anonymous decisions do not reveal your identity.
  • AI processing: By using AI features, you consent to your decision context being sent to third-party AI providers for analysis. See our Privacy Policy for details.
  • Data export: You may export your data at any time using the CSV export feature.

6. Integrations (Stripe Connect, Google Analytics)

  • When you connect third-party services, you authorise us to access read-only data as described during the connection flow.
  • We access Stripe data solely to display revenue metrics and calculate decision attribution. We never initiate transactions on your behalf.
  • Google Analytics data is used to enrich your growth metrics and decision context.
  • You may revoke access to any integration at any time from your dashboard.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or to store illegal content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Abuse the AI features by submitting harmful, misleading, or spam content.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute data from the decision directory without permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure.

8. Disclaimer

The Platform provides decision-support tools and AI-generated analysis. This is not financial, legal, or professional advice. Decision scores, classifications, and AI briefs are informational tools to support your judgment, not replace it. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make for your business.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AdvancedData and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data.

10. Termination

  • You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  • Upon termination, your private data will be deleted within 30 days. Public/anonymous contributions may remain in the directory.
